Chem-Set 743K Solid Surface/Quartz Sink Anchor Kit (4 Sets of Hardware + 605 Acrylic) is an excellent choice for securing undermount kitchen sinks and dishwashers to solid surface, engineered stone or quartz counters without drilling. The sink mounting kit includes: undermount studs, sink clips, Chem-Set 605 Acrylic Adhesive, Mixing Cups and Mixing Sticks.

Each Kit will Contain:

  • (4) M1-RB38-1/4-20×0.75″ Studs
  • (4) Z-Shaped Sink Clips
  • (4) Wingnuts
  • (4) Washers
  • (2) F1CT Dishwasher Fasteners
  • (1) 605 Acrylic, 25ml Hand Syringe
  • (2) Mixing Stick
  • (2) Mixing Cups

Instructions:

  1. Remove the cap from 605 Acrylic Adhesive. Dispense a small amount of adhesive until the adhesive is flowing from both sides chambers of the syringe.
    • 25ml Hand Syringe: Push the adhesive out in equal amounts in the provided mixing cup and mix thoroughly with mixing stick until the color is completely uniform.
  2. Clean the area to be bonded and the glue-on fastener with alcohol. The surface must be clean and dry for good adhesion.
  3. Carefully apply 633 Epoxy to the base of the glue-on fastener and set in the desired position on the underside of the countertop around the sink cut-out.
  4. Allow 45-60 minutes for adhesive to reach the proper handling strength.
    • Note: Adhesive will continue to cure for up to 24 hours.
  5. Once the adhesive has reached handling strength, place the sink into position, mount the ‘Z’-shaped sink brackets onto the glue-on fastener, add washer, then tighten with the wingnut.

    1. Remove the cap from 633 Epoxy Adhesive. Dispense a small amount of adhesive until the adhesive is flowing from both chambers of the container.
      • 50ml Cartridge: Place the cartridge into the dispensing gun without attaching the mixing nozzle. Dispense a small amount until both sides dispense at the same time. Attach a mixing nozzle and dispense a 6-8” bead of adhesive on scrap material to purge the cartridge.
    2. Clean the area to be bonded and the glue-on fastener with alcohol. The surface must be clean and dry for good adhesion.
    3. Carefully apply 633 Epoxy to the base of the glue-on fastener and set in desired position on the underside of the countertop around the sink cut-out.
    4. Allow 45 – 60 minutes for adhesive to reach proper handling strength.
      • Note: Adhesive will continue to cure for up to 24 hours.
    5. Once the adhesive has reached handling strength, place the sink into position, mount the ‘Z’-shaped sink mounting bracket onto the glue-on fastener, add the washer, then tighten with the wingnut.
