Description
The CounterBalance IslandBar Mini 20″ is a concealed steel support for countertop overhangs on a kitchen island or breakfast bar. This bracket is designed to attach to the side walls of your cabinetry and support up to 16″ overhangs on 3cm stone.

What Size Bracket to Order:
The IslandBar Mini (20″) is designed to support overhangs 6″ past the length of the bar. Since each bar (at maximum) needs to be installed half-inside (10″) and half-outside the cabinet (10″) the IslandBar Mini can support overhangs between 10″-16″ with 3cm stone.
Note: You may adjust the IslandBar back into the cabinetry further to have less bracket located underneath your overhang. Just remember that you cannot extend the countertop more than 6″ past the support with 3cm stone.
Other Options:
In some instances, situations like full overlay doors can limit the use of the IslandBar for use with your cabinetry overhangs. If that is the case an alternative to the IslandBar would be to use our CounterPlate or CounterPlate XL. If needed you will need to frame 2×4’s within the cabinetry to successfully mount the plates.
